One of the crowd-pleasing musicians during the weekend's Dutch Mason Blues Festival in Bible Hill was Doyle Bramhall II from Texas. Bramhall II performed Saturday night at the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition grounds and was only one of numerous entertainers who kept thousands of people tuned in throughout the weekend. Homicide of Const. Catherine Campbell September 21, 2015

Truro Police Service Const. Catherine Campbell was reported missing by her employer when she failed to report to work on Sept. 14. Halifax Regional Police began a missing persons investigation that day, and her remains were found early Sept. 16. A 27-year-old Halifax man is facing a charge of second-degree murder in her death.
