Flooding on March 14, 2013

Heavy rainfall overnight March 13 caused flooding throughout Truro and Colchester County.

The top of Young Street in Truro was washed out. 1 width:500px;height:332px The shoulder of Queen Street across from MacKenzie's Towing. 2 width:500px;height:332px Water trying to escape the parking lot in front of MacKenzie's Towing. 3 width:500px;height:332px Main Street in Bible Hill between Park Street and Marshall's Corner saw a lot of flooding that numerous motorists attempted to drive through. Some decided to turn around and find an alternate route. 4 width:500px;height:332px Huge chunks of ice were strewn across Park Street, which was closed to motorists. 5 width:500px;height:332px
The subway in Bible Hill was also closed to motorists and pedestrians. 6 width:500px;height:332px The Holy Well Park in Bible Hill was under water on Thursday. 7 width:500px;height:332px The Salmon River. 8 width:500px;height:332px
