I really don't know why the inhabidents of Truro don't get together as a community effort and get a couple of backhoes, tractors and people power to end this flooding situation after all. The dykes were built along time ago and only require shoring up. Get off your " butts" and do something about it! Or put up with the continual flooding and rain damage caused by the flooding. My late father HR Johnson who was the Director of Emergency Measures for many years submitted a proposition to the Town Council years ago to rectify this by trying to organize a upgrading of the dykes then. Of course NOTHING WAS DONE. DO SOMETHING NOW BEFORE IT HAPPENS AGAIN!
