Dogs + snow = great pics. I happened upon Honey with owners Steve and Wendy Wren at Victoria Park in January after a big snowfall. 6 width:500px;height:351px Truro Raceway is a gold mine for good pictures. This one has great facial expressions from the drivers, the horses' manes are flowing in the wind and dirt is flying everywhere from hooves and wheels. 7 width:500px;height:357px A race horse silhouetted in the setting sun. A nice picture for lots of reasons. 8 width:500px;height:313px Lots of you golfers out there can appreciate what Dr. Trevor Locke went through to get his ball out of the woods, and the effort it took to keep plant life out of his drink and burger during the Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation fundraising golf tournament at Truro Golf Club. 9 width:500px;height:341px Celebration shots are always full of emotion and this was a great one of our Colchester County girls Caila Henderson, facing left, Alex Logue-Storr, facing right, and Allison Settle, 4, as members of the Mount Allison Mounties during the ACAA women's volleyball final at the NSAC. 10 width:500px;height:308px
I like how the lines on the tailgate of this classic Chevy lead you to an excited Danielle Chaplin who is about to go to her prom at South Colchester Academy. 11 width:500px;height:379px I thought this picture of a mass yoga session at the vocational school gym looked great because of the symmetry of everyone's arms and legs and how the whole shot is sort of framed by instructor Jeff MacKinnon at the bottom. 12 width:500px;height:269px
