The Legion Pipes and Drums band performed to hundreds of people celebrating the nation’s birthday at Victoria Park on Tuesday. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 2 has been hosting an afternoon of celebrations in the park for Canada Day every year since 1987.

Canada Day was celebrated throughout Colchester County on Tuesday, and reporters with the Truro Daily News stopped off at some of those in Bible Hill, Truro and Masstown.
