To the editor – Let me begin by stating that I have no business or political affiliations. I am simply a homeowner and taxpayer in Truro, which makes me a member of the largest and most important group to be considered in the current library debate.
This building, regardless of its location, is primarily to serve the needs of those who are footing the bill. This project could fulfill many public needs, not only those provided by a library.
Our elected council is charged with a decision based on the greatest over-all benefit to the largest number of residents. Either location has been shown to be adaptable to adequately meet the needs of a public library, so which one meets the greater need?
