Fix the streets properly, never mind the truckers

I am writing to the response of the article about the overweight trucks.
The No. 1 thing that Coun. Charles Cox should remember is that everything he has today a truck brought it.
No. 2. If it was not for the trucking industry, how would we get the goods we need for every day living?
No. 3. The roads should be up dated to the 21st century. With the high cost of fuel and maintenance the companies try to get the most out of one load to cover the cost. Remember it is all about making a living.
No. 4. The people driving these trucks should be helped in any way we can because of the high stress they are under. We should not try to make their job anymore harder than it is. It is not a fun job to try to get around small towns to get their loads off.
No. 5. If Mr. Cox, think it's an easy job, he should try it. Stop worrying about the streets. Start fixing the roads so they will last more than a season. Don't be cheap, do it right the first time and they would not have to do them every year. It would be cheaper to do it right the first time around.
Thanks, just another truck driver

It would be nice to fix Willow Street Industrial park, instead they erected a new sign. This must be the worst stretch of potholes I've ever seen.
