Snowplowing delays inexcusable

I live in Bass River on the Judge Fulton Road.
Can someone please let me know why, as a taxpayer in Nova Scotia, that the main access road that I need to use to get to the Highway 2 to go to Truro, is plowed, but it takes up to 24 hours or longer to get the road that I live on cleared?
I don't know if anybody else who lives on a secondary road in this province has the same problem, but I find that this is inexcusable, considering that our tax dollars pay the snowplow drivers' wages. The very least we should be able to expect is the road that we live on is plowed at least once in a 24-hour period. Is it just me, or is this too much to ask? Maybe we should get our taxes lowered because of the poor service we get in rural Nova Scotia.
