Indecent acts reported along Port Hawkesbury waterfront

PORT HAWKESBURY — RCMP are seeking the public's assistance as they search for a man who committed indecent acts along the Port Hawkesbury waterfront last week.

RCMP received a report of a man committing an indecent act in front of several young females Thursday at 9:45 p.m. Further investigation revealed that the man had exposed himself to three separate groups of young women within 45 minutes. No physical contact was made with any of the victims.

The suspect is described as a white man, 25 to 30 years old, approximately five foot six, heavy build, dark brown hair, and tanned skin. At the time of the incidents, the man was wearing a baseball cap and dark clothing.

RCMP have increased patrols in the area and are hoping to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incidents and can provide further information on the suspect.
