Family members of a Lockeport man are worried.
Thomas Foote hasn’t been seen by friends or family for at least three days. He hasn’t shown up for work at the Clearwater plant in town.
The 45-year-old is five foot five and approximately 140 pounds, with salt and pepper hair. According to friends, he was last seen leaving work at 2 a.m. Saturday morning after working the Friday night shift.
He was driving a silver 2004 Chevrolet Optra (licence plate unknown).
Family members say it is out of character for Foote to leave for an extended time without notifying anyone.
“It’s not like him,” said his daughter, Nicole Foote. “He didn’t show up for work …that’s not like him.”
Nicole said there was a possible unconfirmed sighting of her father on July 13.
Shelburne RCMP have opened a missing persons file in the case but have not yet approached the media in connection with the file. An officer who answered the phone at the detachment said they were still following up leads in the case.
Family members asked for the media’s help in the case directly.
“I just want him to call me and hear that he’s okay,” said Nicole.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Thomas Foote can contact the Shelburne RCMP at 875-2490.
