TRURO – This week is the final week for Nova Scotians to provide input to help shape the province's first sexual violence strategy.

The online survey ends Friday.

Government would like to hear from all Nova Scotians who have been impacted by sexual violence or want to help make a positive change.

The three-year strategy, which will get $2 million per year, will focus on prevention and services for victims.

“We all want a safe, caring and respectful society for our children, families, employees and friends,” said Community

Services Minister Joanne Bernard. “So I urge all Nova Scotians to take a few moments over the next few days to help shape this important piece of public policy.”
