Halifax police search for suspects after man seriously injured in shooting

By The Canadian Press - HALIFAX — Police say a 50-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the Halifax area.

Investigators say the man was walking on Lahey Road in Dartmouth just after 2 a.m.  when he was approached by two people.

Police say the suspects demanded his belongings and at some point, shot him in the torso. The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the only description available of the suspects is a white male and a black male.
