Damage done to road paving equipment in Debert

DEBERT – Damage worth roughly $45,000 was done to four pieces of road paving equipment in Debert this month.

The Colchester RCMP is investigating the damage to the vehicles belonging to Dexter Construction on East Mines Station Road.

The damaged equipment includes a 2014 C-110 Weiler roller, 2013 RoadTech asphalt transfer vehicle, 2012 Caterpillar asphalt spreader and a 2009 John Deere power boom.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between July 4 at 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. July 7.
