TRURO – Approximately 140 Nova Scotia Power customers were still without electricity within Colchester County by late Tuesday afternoon, a company spokesperson said.

“That would include Truro and parts of Tatamagouche,” Neera Ritcey told the Truro Daily News, of those still without power following post tropical storm Arthur.

“The majority of them should be restored by the end of the day or tomorrow morning.”

Across the province, approximately 12,000 customers were still without power at that point, she said, including about 50 outages in the Springhill and Parrsboro areas.
