TRURO – A local school will receive more than $10,000 from the Town of Truro to help with a walking trail.
On Monday’s regularly scheduled public monthly meeting, a unanimous decision was made to give Harmony Heights Elementary School more than $10,300 to go toward enhancements
to the school by helping to build a walking trail.
“It’s long overdue,” said Coun. Greg MacArthur, saying the plan has been in place for about six years.
Coun. Tom Chisholm reiterated the funding “is already there” and the funding is “not a new request.”
