TRURO – After a successful ‘Starry Night Tour’ of New York City in June, a local artist is scheduling a tour to Boston in the fall.
The tour, scheduled for Nov. 14-20, will offer an itinerary including various options such as a performance of Swan Lake by the Boston Ballet or the famous Scullers Jazz Club; the Boston Symphony or a Bruins game; Museum of Fine Arts; the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; a group dinner at the hotel and a walking tour of the historic Boston on the Freedom Trail.
The trip will also include a visit to the historic Concord, found in 1635, home of authors Alcott, Hawthorne, Thoreau and Emerson. There will also be leisure time for sightseeing and shopping, with free shuttle service from the Doubletree Suites by Hilton to Harvard Square and downtown.
Dee Appleby is co-ordinating the tour with the help of Alison Fielding.
Anyone interested in the tour is asked to contact Appleby at 890-4704 or 893-1685 by July 10.
