Media reports indicate the man charged with fatally shooting three RCMP officers last month in Moncton is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Cst. Douglas James Larche, Cst. Dave Joseph Ross and Cst. Fabrice Georges Gevaudan were killed by a heavily armed gunman on the evening of June 4.

Two other RCMP officers - constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen - were wounded and later released from hospital.
