TRURO – A community conversation is being held next month to kick start the design and creation of the future of the region.

Following the ONE NS Report, also known as the Ivany Report, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus’ Kathleen Kevany and Nova Scotia Community College Truro campus’ Fonda Smyth are co-facilitating the community conversation, which runs from 7 to 9 p.m. on July 9 at the community college’s cafeteria salon.

The co-facilitators think residents in Truro and Colchester can show leadership and creativity, while collectively becoming the place people admire and ask ‘how did you do it?’

With businesses, governments and agencies working together, a community can take action to launch it into the most exciting and prosperous times ahead. Ideas, enthusiasm, knowledge and energy are needed to do just that.

Those wishing to attend the first session are asked to RSVP by email to Katherine.Pike@dal.ca.
