The Colchester East Hants Hospice Society held grand opening celebrations on Wednesday at its centre on Queen Street.

The Colchester East Hants Hospice Society held grand opening celebrations on Wednesday at its centre on Queen Street.

The event was an opportunity to celebrate the new location and the special individuals who made the centre possible through generous donations.

In addition to getting a glimpse inside the new hospice centre, visitors had an opportunity to view the construction of the Venner Memorial Garden, located in front of the facility.

The Colchester East Hants Hospice Society, founded in 2002, was established to support Colchester Regional Hospital's palliative care program with a community presence.
