TRURO – Truro’s popular Sunday in the Park summer concert series returns to the J. Arch Fraser Bandshell at Victoria Park on June 15, featuring some of this region’s most talented musicians.
The free weekly outdoor concerts are sponsored by the Town of Truro Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture, and held each Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
There are also some special events, including a July 1 Canada Day concert, an Aug. 4 civic holiday concert and a Sept. 1 Labour Day concert. Also as part of the long August weekend, there is an extra concert on Saturday, Aug. 2. Times for special concerts may vary.
Don’t forget to bring your chairs and your sunscreen.
And, while at the park, enjoy refreshments and food from the canteen, the outdoor swimming pool, children’s spray park and playground, scenic trails and beautiful scenery.
