Cab driver robbed in Bible Hill

BIBLE HILL – Colchester RCMP is seeking assistance from the public in relation to a robbery early Sunday morning.


At approximately 4 a.m., a driver of a local taxi company and a single passenger were travelling along College Road in Bible Hill. The passenger asked the driver to stop on Bigney Avenue, and when he did, the passenger produced a weapon and demanded cash.

The driver was able to escape without injury and the suspect fled on foot.

Officers searched the area with the assistance of an RCMP police dog, however, could not locate the suspect.

He is believed to be in his early 20s and is described as skinny with brown hair and some acne or scarring on his face.
