TRURO – Some unique, handmade bowls are available for one day only in support of Supported Opportunities for Unemployed Persons (SOUP).
Danielle Sawada, who owns Thrown Together Pottery, along with her students have donated 25 bowls to SOUP Café. The bowls will be sold, with a meal of choice, on Wednesday for $25. All money goes to support the programming for SOUP Café, which helps give people who have been without work due to mental health reasons the skills they need to re-enter the workforce.
The bowls are on display now, however there is no reserving of the bowls. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
