NORTH KENTVILLE - Kings District RCMP arrested a 50-year-old Kentville man May 16 after two people were injured at a North Kentville home.

Around 9:45 p.m., police and paramedics responded to a call for help at an Exhibition Street address.

Members of the Kings District RCMP, who were nearby at a non-related call, attended the scene within minutes.

Police allege the Kentville man assaulted a 41-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man with a weapon at the home, which belongs to the female victim.

The suspect was arrested at the scene without incident.
