Both long time supporters and people just learning about the Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre showed up at the charity's sixth annual silent auction and benefit concert, which was held at the Ponderosa Tap & Grill, on May 10.

About $15,000 was raised and will go toward the costs of care for sick and injured wildlife. Last year the facility constructed a large raptor flight facility to allow large birds of prey to regain the ability to fly during rehabilitation.
