LOWER SACKVILLE - Police in Halifax say they arrested two people in possession of items allegedly stolen from several vehicles in the Lower Sackville area early Sunday morning.

The RCMP say most of the vehicles broken into early were between Millwood Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue.

Police are asking anyone living in the area to check their vehicles to make sure no items are missing.

If something is missing, police are asking people to call 490-5020 to report the theft so they can help investigators identify the owners of the property seized.

This is the latest string of vehicle break-ins to hit Sackville. Last week, police were warning residents to lock their car doors after about 10 vehicles in the Millwood and Beaver Bank area were broken into.

Organizations: RCMP, Millwood and Beaver Bank

Geographic location: Sackville, Millwood Avenue, Metropolitan Avenue
