Police investigating stabbing in Tiverton

TIVERTON - One man went to hospital and another to the RCMP detachment after a stabbing in Tiverton.

Digby RCMP Constable James Klyszejko said they were called to a home in Tiverton about 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 after a resident called 911 to report the stabbing.

Klyszejko said two men involved knew each other.

RCMP arrested one man and kept him in the Digby cells overnight. He was released Sunday morning.

Klyszejko said no charges have been laid yet but charges are pending.

The other man suffered minor injuries; he was taken to Digby General Hospital for treatment and then released.
