Truro Mall digs out of three-metre high snow drifts

TRURO - Wednesday's winter storm dumped 30 to 40 centimetres of snow in this region that created high snow drifts whipped by high winds.

Staff at Truro Mall arrived early Thursday to discover 10-metre high snowdrifts blocking entrances.

    These pictures don't do it justice! There is one photo floating around on Facebook that truly shows the mass of snow that blocked off most entrances. It's like a ski hill coming down from the archway. Pretty cool!
