Two injured in Halifax when snowmobile crashes into wall

HALIFAX – Two people were taken to hospital after they were thrown from their snowmobile when it crashed into a concrete wall outside Halifax.

Police say the driver suffered serious injuries, but it wasn’t clear whether the passenger was seriously hurt.

The accident occurred just after 9 p.m. Saturday on Springfield Lake in Middle Sackville.

Police say the snowmobile struck a concrete wall near the shore after crossing the lake, ejecting both people from the machine.
