TATAMAGOUCHE – A community supper is being planned for early March at the North Shore Recreation Centre.
The supper, which runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on March 9, will see chef Shawn Crouse whip up a three-course meal, which includes creamy winter soup, roast beef and vegetables, and a dessert of either apple or blueberry crisp. Local farmer Fraser Hunter will be a speaker at the event, which saw Select Nova Scotia donate $500 to the cause.
Tickets are $15 each and will be matched by Scotiabank, with all the proceeds going to programs offered through the recreation centre.
Tickets are available from centre board members, Scotiabank in Tatamagouche and Fulton C G Pharmacy Ltd.
