Boy charged after pointing pellet gun at someone on Dartmouth street

DARTMOUTH - Police say a young offender is facing charges after a pellet gun was allegedly pointed at someone on a Dartmouth street.

Around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, police say the boy was walking in the area of Lahey Road and Catherine Street carrying a firearm, and he pointed it at a female.

After getting a description of the suspect from witnesses, police say they located the male young offender a short distance away and he was arrested carrying a pellet gun.

No one was injured and police say the boy is being charged with several firearm related offences.
