Assault conviction results in jail time for Truro man

TRURO - A Truro man who was found guilty of assault and two counts of uttering threats has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Adrian Joseph Paul, 37, of 32 Burnyet St., must serve 12 months probation after he is released from custody.

During that period he is not permitted to enter any establishment where alcohol is served, cannot possess or use firearms or weapons and must be assessed and take counselling as directed for alcohol consumption, domestic violence, anger management and for psychological, psychiatric or mental health issues.
