BIBLE HILL – Nominations are now being accepted for outstanding volunteers in the Village of Bible Hill.

Outstanding volunteers to be honoured in Bible Hill

The annual Bible Hill Volunteer Awards will be presented in April. The community is asked to nominate people who have made a positive difference in the village through their volunteer efforts.

There are four categories that will be recognized. The golden long-term service award recognizes contributions through worldwide community volunteer service for 50 years or longer. At least 25 years of those would have to be volunteering within Bible Hill.

The long-term service award also honours worldwide volunteer service, but is for 25 years or more with at least 12 years of that service in the village.

The young achievers service award will go to people 18 and younger who have made an outstanding contribution in volunteer community service in Bible Hill in the past year. And the

outstanding community service award will congratulate outstanding contributions, of any age, for volunteer service in the past year.

Nominations are due by March 6 and forms can be obtained by calling the village office at 893-8083, emailing recreation@biblehill.ca or by logging onto the village’s website at www.biblehill.ca.
