PARADISE - Police are investigating after an Nova Scotia RCMP vehicle was hit by another car on Sunday.
Around noon on Highway 1 near Paradise, Annapolis County, police say the RCMP car was hit by a Honda Accord travelling east as it was leaving a driveway.
The RCMP officer had the emergency lights flashing and was trying to follow a suspect when his car was hit on the driver side.
The 40-year-old officer and four people in the Honda were assessed by paramedics at the scene, and no serious injuries were reported.
RCMP said both cars received âextensive damageâ and a Traffic Analyst is now assisting with the investigation.
