TRURO – Truro police are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a stolen vehicle.

Public’s input sought in solving vehicle theft in Truro

The theft of a black 1999 Honda Accord from Wal-Mart’s parking lot occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The vehicle was discovered shortly after on the Upper Brookfield Road on fire.

Truro police asks anyone who may witnessed the incident or any activity surrounding it to call 895-5351 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

    This is what happened to our Chevy Blazer last March. We were down visiting family in Truro and our car was stolen in the middle of the night and found on top of Wood Street on Fire.. I hope, if it's the same ones, they're found and charged. We lost our childrens birthday presents as well as their carseats.
