Colchester RCMP searching for man after Ultramar robbed

BIBLE HILL – The Colchester RCMP are searching for a male after a robbery was reported at the Ultramar in Bible Hill.

Just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, a lone male entered the Ultramar on Main Street and asked the clerk to make change for a $5 bill.

When the clerk opened the register, the male advised the clerk he had a weapon and that he was robbing him. The male suspect obtained a sum of cash and fled on foot into the Town of Truro.

The store employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male of medium height, wearing a green toque, green vest, plaid shirt, and sneakers, and carrying a black laptop bag.

The Police Dog Unit attended the scene and the dog was able to pick up a track, which lead to some pieces of the suspect’s clothing being recovered.
