TRURO – With the shutdown date of the Colchester Regional Development Agency (CoRDA) moving ever closer, staff are attempting to refer existing clients and/or members of the community to alternate community resources wherever possible, a spokesperson says.

“The Board and Staff of CoRDA are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this community and are proud of their contribution to local economic development over the past two decades,” executive director Ron Smith said in a news release.

The agency, which served the Truro-Colchester community for 21 years, is set to close Jan. 31.
