TRURO – Environment Canada continues its warnings of another major winter storm Friday.
Winter storm expected to create near zero visibility at times
According to the weather organization’s website early Friday morning, a blowing snow warning is in effect. For the Truro area, upwards of 15 cm of snow could fall with winds gusting up to 60 early this afternoon.
The wind chill in the morning is -25.
Flurries are expected to end in the evening, then clearing. However, blowing snow may still be an issue and extreme cold temperatures are expected, up to -29.
A mix of sun and cloud are in the forecast for Saturday with a windchill of -27.
