TRURO - A Truro man who breached his conditional sentencing terms by drinking has been sentenced to seven days in jail.

Court news

Carl Blair Little, 47, of 32 Pleasant St., had received his conditional sentencing order last August, which included the stipulation that he not consume alcohol or other intoxicating substances.

"You should tell me today why you shouldn't serve the rest of this in jail," Judge Warren Zimmer told Little, who had also breached his terms in November.

"You will have one last opportunity on this conditional sentence order (before it is collapsed entirely)," the judge said.

The latest breach occurred on Dec. 29 after Little said he had been drinking with friends.
