TRURO – A large turnout is expected when the Dairy Farmers of Nova Scotia’s annual general meeting takes place in Truro in January.
The event will be held at the Best Western Glengerry on Jan. 15 and 16.
According to a news release from the Dairy Farmers of Nova Scotia, about 100 of the province’s 234 registered farms and more than 180 people are expected to participate in the gathering.
The purpose is to bring together dairy producers from across the province to share news, review policies and receive updates on various issues within the industry.
National reports, a business meeting, trade panel discussions and presentations will be included in the two-day event.
