Environment Canada previously anticipated a winter storm for Thursday and Friday. That is no longer the case, the weather centre says.
Environment Canada had issued a special statement warning of significant snow, wind and blowing snow in Nova Scotia late Thursday and Friday.
According to the weather site on Tuesday morning, the system should pass south of the Maritimes on Friday. The website says there's a mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of flurries on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday, the forecast is flurries and Saturday looks like sunshine.
