Participants can also walk the trail
TATAMAGOUCHE – Anyone wanting to make a resolution involving running has the chance to get on the train early.
A New Years Resolution Run will be held in Tatamagouche on Wednesday, beginning at the North Shore Recreation Centre at 9 a.m.
The five-kilometre run or walk is open and untimed, and will take participants around the village. The event is to support the Neighbours Helping Neighbours Food Bank, and entrance fee is a cash or non-perishable food donation to the food bank.
There will be hot chocolate and snacks following the run for all participants, and for every donation given, participants will be entered into a prize draw, which will be drawn for at the end of the run.
The Tatamagouche branch of the Scotiabank will match all cash donations. See Marilyn Ebsary or Susan Weatherby at the branch for details.
