PENNFIELD, N.B. — New Brunswick RCMP say two men face drug charges after police pulled over a vehicle on Thursday.
Officers stopped a vehicle on route 175 in Pennfield following a traffic complaint.
Police say a search resulted in the seizure of over 5000 pills, about 800 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana, a loaded handgun and body armour.
A 32-year-old Moncton man and a 25-year-old man from Stanley were arrested.
The Mounties say the men face charges related to the possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and firearms offences.
