The RCMP say the medical examiner's office is seeking more information on the death of a man whose body was found after a bus shelter caught fire in Berwick this week.
Police confirmed that 62-year-old Harley Lawrence died but they haven't release the results of an autopsy. The Mounties have classified Lawrence's death as suspicious.
People have been visiting an impromptu memorial site outside the bus shelter, where a collection of flowers and candles have been left.
A volunteer with a group that helps people with mental health issues in the area says she was still coming to grips with Lawrence's death.
Tabatha Ward says she spoke to Harley occasionally after seeing him on the street last Christmas.
Some people who knew Lawrence say he resisted help and showed little interest in taking advantage of programs set up to help the homeless.
