TRURO - A number Colchester County residents were convicted in provincial court this week of drinking and driving offences.

- David Greg Clarke, 49, of 787 Highway 311 was fined $1,725 after pleading guilty to failing the breathalyzer. His driving privileges were also suspended for 12 months.

- Brian Leslie Burris, 68, of 9 Bob Lee Dr., Bible Hill, was fined $1,150 and had his driver's license suspended for 12 months after pleading guilty to refusing the breathalyzer.

- Lori Lee Burke-Harris, 47, of 29 Sandy Place, Valley, was fined $1,150 and banned from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to failing the breathalyzer.

- Joel Timothy Ingemansen, 34, of 492B Young St., Truro, received the same penalty after also pleading guilty to failing the breathalyzer.

- Likewise for Matthew Wade Sanford, 27, of 165 Brunswick St., Apt. 4, Truro, who also pled guilty to failing the breathalyzer.

- Nathan Alonzo Sylliboy, 19, of 354 Old Halifax Rd., Brookfield, was fined $1,000 and had his driving privileges suspended for 12 months after he also pled guilty to failing the breathalyzer.
