TRURO - A Truro woman was taken to the Colchester East Hants Health Centre shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday after being struck in a crosswalk by a vehicle.
Truro Police Service's Const. Jason Reeves told the Truro Daily News a woman, estimated to be 60 years old, was hit while crossing the street at the intersection of Queen and Lorne streets. According to police on scene, the woman did not appear to suffer major injuries.
Police also indicated the driver of the vehicle was a Bible Hill woman, about 40 years old.
The investigation is ongoing.
