HALIFAX- A 51-year-old woman is facing numerous charges after police say she tried fleeing from police several times.
Just before midnight, an officer was responding to a dispatched call when the vehicle in front of him failed to yield to his lights and siren. The vehicle eventually stopped on Dutch Village Road, but police say as the officer was speaking with the driver at the window, the vehicle took off again.
The vehicle stopped a second time at the intersection of Alex Street and Rosedale Avenue, and police say the driver then tried running on foot. She was quickly arrested however and police say no one was injured.
