HALIFAX - Chris Brown won’t be making it to Halifax. At least not this year.

The Energy Rush concert series, headlined by Brown, is being postponed until next year.

“After ongoing conversation and consultation with this year’s headline act Chris Brown, and in light of the performer’s recent personal and health-related issues, a decision has been made to cancel all four scheduled performances,” said Drop Entertainment Group owner Stephen Tobin.

“In the absence of a festival headliner, we cannot proceed. We will start planning immediately for next year’s events and the Energy/Summer Rush series will be back in 2014, bigger and better than ever.”

Brown’s shows in Winnipeg, Toronto and Saint John are also postponed.

When Metro reached out to concert organizer Stephen Tobin on Sunday, he said the concert was still scheduled and had “no further updates at this time.”

Refunds for all scheduled events will be available at original point of purchase starting Thursday, Aug. 22.

This guy picked up trash on the side of the highway and thinks that is supposed to somehow make the rest of civilized society forgive him for beating and leaving a woman in the hospital. the sad part, a lot of people did forgive him, including that woman he beat to a bloody pulp. Chris Brown doesn't deserve fame, he deserves a curb stomping.
