Around 8:45 p.m. that evening, RCMP received a report of a man loading fishing gear into a vehicle in Centreville. An individual was later stopped by Kentville Police and turned over to New Minas RCMP.

Earlier that day, there was a report of theft of lobster crates from Hall’s Harbour. Kings RCMP Const. Blair MacMurtery could not confirm if the two thefts are related.

The Annapolis County man is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
