TRURO – A Truro man was taken to hospital in Halifax Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle.

Truro Police inspector Robert Hearn said the 48-year-old man was transported to the QEII Health Science Centre with what were believed to be serious injuries after being struck by a car at the corner of Brunswick and Exhibition streets around 8 p.m.

“We’re asking anybody that witnessed the accident (who has not already spoken to police) to make contact with us,” Hearn said.
