TRURO – Three local businesses are coming together to offer the women in the community an opportunity to get back on track.

MacKinnon Fitness , Ladies Night Out , 589A Prince Street

With momentum for New Year’s resolutions losing steam around the same time each year, Breathing Space Yoga Studio, MacKinnon Fitness Inc. and Simply for Life are hosting the Ladies Night Out to help make 2013 the most successful year yet.

Women can commit to a 24-hour period between this Friday and Saturday of focusing completely on themselves, escaping their every day routines, responsibilities and commitments, and having some fun connecting with other women.

There will be special presentations led by Jenny Kierstead, Lenore Zann, and Jason Davis. Within small-guided groups, participants will find out how to create their own personal vision, develop effective goals, identify their fears and obstacles, and create an action plan for moving forward. In addition, there will also be sessions on taking care of both the inside and the outside, with a yoga-fit class, stress reduction, meditation, self-defense, hair and skin-care.

Women are encouraged to spend the night and will receive a healthy breakfast, Simply for Life taste testing, and an SFL-approved lunch.

Upon registration at the event, each participant will also receive a grab bag with lots of discounts and coupons from local health and wellness businesses.

Interested women can drop into 589A Prince Street to secure their spot, join us on Facebook, or call 843-9642 for more information.

Registration begins March 1 at 5:30 p.m. and the event starts at 6.
